Reasons the Penguins Should have Cheered

Capitals blogger Russian Machine Never Breaks seemed to take exception to the Penguins not cheering as Alex Ovechkin hit 1000 points with an early goal in last night's 5-2 loss to the Capitals.  They may have a point.  Let's look at the reasons the Penguins should have cheered him on.

Alex Ovechkin: 1000 points, zero championships.  Congrats!  Maybe the Capitals will show up for the next banner raising and cheer for the Penguins.
